In the end of Summer 2022, after spending a few months on Bodhi, I've tried Enso OS for a change. distrowatch.com/table.php?distribution=ensoI was kinda amazed by it ! Unfortunately, it's apparently abandoned by its creator... The base was Ubuntu (XUbuntu to be more precise) and the DE was based on Pantheon (from elementary OS) with bits of XFCE. It was a very clean and pleasant experience. Are there other fans here ? Does someone know if there's a project to resurrect it, or a similar project ? (Debian/Ubuntu featuring a fork of Pantheon DE) I was not amazed by other attempts at adapting Pantheon to distroes other than elementary (e.g. on Fedora or Ultramarine)

Hello, There is Gecko linux pantheon rolling based on Opensuse tumbleweed. This is in my opinion the best distro other than Elementary OS along with the pantheon desktop. The only complaint I have is that its update must go through the command line because there is no update application like in elementary. Otherwise it is much faster and more responsive than Ultramarine.

I'll try Opensuse Tumbleweed Pantheon (on a live USB or virtually), thank you for the suggestion !
I'm not familiar with the Suse "ecosystem", though...
I briefly used to try Geckolinux in the past (more-or-less community forks of OpenSuse, IIRC) but was kind of lost with software management.
