Is this computer too old? Is Bodhi Linux the better choice?
Hi,
I have a very old 32 bit laptop (full specs below). At the moment it is partitioned to run a dual boot of the original Windows XP and Mint Linux 18.2 MATE. I doesn't adequately handle the Mint, with very long waiting periods and video noise in the form of flickering horizontal lines on the screen screen.
I would like to dedicate this computer to YACY and possibly some other I2P extras.
The questions that I have:
1) Is this computer even worth the trouble or should I trash it and look for at least a 64 bit machine?
2) If it could be of service for the purpose of YACY, would Bodhi Linux be the better distro to install or, given the hardware limitations, should I explore other distros (perhaps antix, puppy, lubuntu, mx, or something else?).
Please bare in mind that I'm not a techie.
