I´am using Bodhi 7.0b to run a test server.
I´ve already disabled some modules that are not needed for such an installation: - Multiple desktops - Bluetooth - Wifi ( wired LAN in use )
What else can I safely deactivate?
I´m going to install Remmina, for remote access. What do you suggest as viewer?
I would like to install a performance monitoring app ( something like Conky ), with the possibility to obtain logs showing cpu load, ram load, network load, cpu temp.... What can I try?
I know that for a server I should use other OSs like Centos, Ubuntu Server or Alpine, and install a SSH Server for remote access, but this is just a test server that we are going to use 2-3 months before deploying the app on AWS ( maybe ).

Remmina is a viewer, not a server. It can connect to ssh, vnc, and rdp servers. I use it as a viewer with x11vncserver.
You could deactive any moksha modules you don't need. Go to modules and start disabling them. Since only one desktop, you don't need pager for example. Probably don't need desktop gadgets. Etc, just remove everything you're not going to use.
You don't need to load nm-applet, can remove that from startup apps.
I dunno about performance logs, but htop is a useful system monitor.

Thank you! I'm going to try the solution with x11vncserver. I've used Anydesk, Teamviewer and Tightvnc in the past, because I needed to access other PC and servers from Windows PCs. But Anydesk and Teamviewer do not allow unattended access, on the free version.
For performance monitoring, I will try nmon and glances. They should be light enough, and they can write logs.

Bumping up this thread...
I'm using BH 7.0 HWE on a micro PC as a server running Home Assistant. I plan to access this PC remotely via VNC as it will be without a monitor and KB/mouse.
When testing remote access via VNC using Remmina viewer, I run into 2 issues:
- after logging in, Moksha displays an error that there is no monitor attached. Is there a way to disable this message?
- the VNC session begins with a resolution smaller than my screen. i have to manually run "xrandr --fb 1280x800" to set the correct resolution. Is there a better way to automate this? Or perhaps there is a way to boot up BH with a set resolution regardless if a monitor is connected.
Thanks!

You can add that xrandr command to the file "~/.e/e/applications/startup/startupcommands" and it'll run automatically when Moksha starts. (You can also probably do this via the Monitor Settings GUI, with the "save to moksha" option).
Dunno how to disable the no monitor message tho...

Thanks, it works! There's already a 'startupcommands' file in that folder and I believe it's from using the Monitor Setting GUI. The file already had the xrandr command with preset arguments from the GUI. I just need to tweak the arguments to make it work with a monitor and without one.
'xrandr --fb 1280x800' works well without a monitor but doesn't work with a monitor.

That startup commands is a regular shell script. So, if you wanted to get fancy, you could write something to check if the monitor is attached, and apply the appropriate setting based on the result... probably something in the output of just 'xrandr' could be parsed for that....
