So, I managed to install Moksha on my Gentoo PC. Not everything is working, though, and I'll have to look into that, but compiling went fine with the most recent efl. For now I can't shut down, hibernate, or suspend - only lock and log out. The keyboard setting is also not working; although it says DE, I'm having the US keyboard layout.

OK, I had Enlightenment on there which obviously caused a little confusion because of the .e directory that enlightenment had written to. Now shutdown, suspend and the like work as well.

In case anyone needs it in the future, myself included.
* Install/ compile EFL with the "luajit" flag * Download the latest release / clone the git repository of moksha. Then run
cd /path/to/moksha_source ./autogen.sh --prefix=/usr/local/moksha make sudo make install
Done.

I assume that doesn't include all the modules and themes and wallpapers tho, does it? That's all gotta be done separately.... but still cool beans.

Good point. Although it's probably not hard to build those, too.

Hi,
In my little experiment on MX/Debian I've also run into the issue with Shutdown, Reboot, Hibernate and Suspend not working, Logout and Lock still work and elsewhere pkexec and sudo stuff is working so I'm a bit puzzled because it appears the polkit agent is working. Initially this system was booting with sysvinit so I assumed perhaps it was systemd problem but now I'm booting with systemd and those options in the Logout dialog are still disabled..?
Any idea what to look at?
