Hi, I've been using the same USB stick for about 2 years now for at least four BL 6 installs, but today, after the initial check, I got the "Error found in one file. You may encounter problems!" notification. Should I just re-burn the stick? It's on a machine I just bought. I had this probelm installing Ubuntu 20.04 before, but never with BL. Would certainly appreciate any advice.

I'd try making a new stick, because it's a matter of minutes and what's to lose? I also recommend checking the file integrity before writing it to the stick, this way you can be (quite) sure that it's the stick's fault if you get that error message again.

Thanks for your reply. I will do that. Please excuse my tech limited vocab as I ask the following question: When you recommend checking the file integrity do you simply mean checking the Md5 and sha256 on the ISO?

You might add [solved] to the thread title so other people see that no more help is needed.

I see someone has marked this as [solved]. Hadn't been back here since 5/31.

That’ll be me. I generally tend to mark posts as solved when they are, among other glamorous forum duties.
