Hi, all!
I tried, unsuccessfully, to install Bodhi on a newer (vs. brand-spanking new) that's maybe 3-4 years old. A custom made machine.
It seemed to install okay at first. But there appears to have been a hiccup in graphics. I could not get the workspace switcher to appear at all. I looked like there were the default four workspaces, though. All the settings I wen through indicated I should have been able to see that, but no such luck.
Problem is, I'm not at that machine right now. So, could someone tell me what I should look for (via inxi or some such) to see what might be the cause?
Oh, yes, the installer wouldn't load at all unless it was in safe graphics mode. Don't know if that's relevant or not.
The monitor on the new machine is a 1980x1080 screen size. I suspect that monitor might be the problem; I have Bodhi working just fine on another computer, but when I try to plug it into that other newer monitor; no workspace swapper thingamajig either.
Anyway, if someone could tell me what to look for (I should have the monitor make &c next time) to give me a nudge in the right direction, that would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance, all...

The module used to switch workspaces is called "Pager" and it should be loaded by default. You can add a gadget to your shelf for better visibility. You can also switch dekstops (by default) with alt+1 alt+2 alt+3 alt+4 .
To add gadgets to shelf, there are lots of ways. One way is start/settings/shelves then highlight your shelf, select "contents" then highlight pager and "Add Gadget."
