A sweet graphical usb-formatter and usb-image-writer all in one. Nice li'l point-and-click newbie-friendly tool from the Linux Mint toolbox. Could that be added to Bodhi?

Mint offers a lot of nice custom tools. I dunno if mintstick will get added to Bodhi repos or not, but if you want to use it right now with Bodhi, you can install the mint-tools-for-other-ubuntu-distros ppa and then install it. sudo add-apt-repository ppa:kelebek333/mint-tools sudo apt install mintstick You could also actually add the mint key and mint repos, but gotta be careful with that, could break something and definitely not officially supported by Bodhi. I've done it before tho, to install 'mintinstall' which isnt in the mint-tools ppa, and didn't run into any issues, other than a broken "software sources" I couldn't easily remove (so just hid it). If you chose to go that route, you need to manually download the key, then add the appropriate apt source.
For example for Bodhi 7/Ubuntu 22.04:
cd /tmp wget http://packages.linuxmint.com/pool/main/l/linuxmint-keyring/linuxmint-keyring_2022.06.21_all.deb sudo apt install ./linuxmint-keyring_2022.06.21_all.deb echo 'deb http://packages.linuxmint.com victoria main upstream import backport' | sudo tee -a /etc/apt/sources.list.d/mint.list sudo apt update cd

I saw in another thread (after I posted this one) that the software has abuncha "mint-specific" properties that could mess up a Bodhi system. Maybe if someone geeky enough to fork it for Bodhi did so it would make a nice addition.

Do you have a link to this other thread? There should be nothing in the PPA that could mess up any system. The whole point of that PPA is Mint Tools for distros besides Mint.
However yeah addiing Mint repos directly to Bodhi could be dangerous.

Another way to add mintstick is to download it in the .deb file and then install it using gdebi. That is what I did and have no issues with it. You can find it here, most current is the last entry at the bottom of the page: "mintstick_1.5.6_all.deb 2023-Mar-28 11:53:29 49.3K application/vnd.debian.binary-package" packages.linuxmint.com/pool/main/m/mintstick/
