Hi. I am new user of Bodhi,first time in Linux.I burn Bodhi ISO to a USB drive from Etcher,first i try from Rufus but for some reasons i wasn't able to burn the ISO.I am using Moksha green theme and i like it so much. Everything works good and faster. For several month I was thinking to pas from Windows to Linux but with to many distro it was no easy to choice. I choise Bodhi and i feel god, you guys have make great job with Bodhi,it's so light and faster. Congratulations.  |

Sorry, nvidia-304 is not going to work with any recent Bodhi version. The last version it officially worked with was Bodhi 4.5 (Ubuntu 16.04). It is possible to make it work with Bodhi 5.x using some patches and trickery, but anything newer, you are completely out of luck. It will not work with current version of X11.
The only current distro I've heard of anyone still making it work is slackware, there's a guy that maintains xorg 1.19 and nvidia-304 for it....
You're better off using nouveau, or if not a laptop, getting any other video card, ideally not nvidia.

I updatet to nvidia 304,For some reasons now show me Ubuntu Pro and seems have problem with kernel. I use Bodhi Legacy 32bit.

Even on Bodhi Legacy 5.x, you cannot install nvidia-304 unless you went out of your way to do it, it's not available from repository. Unless you mean Bodhi 4.5, in which case, yeah its easy to install and should work fine.
In any case, unless you really know what you're doing and really have a good reason for it, I suggest, do not use nvidia-304 at all, use the nouveau driver and use current Bodhi. If you have some use case where there is some game that needs gl acceleration you cannot live without, then maybe stick with bl4.5 or I could direct you toward that slackware solution, the guy posts on LQ....
As to Ubuntu Pro, I dunno too much about it - although I did sign up for it for my laptop that's still running Bodhi 5.1 and it gave me some more updates, and I even notice on my Bodhi 6 machine they're trying to push it and holding back updates... not impressed with them requiring it for supposedly currently supported versions, but thats another topic for another thread....

Im using bodhi-5.1.0-legacy and I install nvidia-304 from PCManFM, The problem now is cannot open my Bodhi for some problem with kernel .

I don't know for real what's happened ,I just update nvidia 304 and seems have be installed Ubuntu Pro and now can't open my PC in Bodhi because seems now have some problem with kernel.
Help needed.
