Evening. I'm a long time Linux Mint user, now running Bodhi on a particularly old machine that has not the resources for Mint, and keeping Mint on newer hardware. Been an interesting transition...

Hi sjash
Welcome to the forums and community. Hopefully Bodhi will win you over and be on all your machines soon!

Thanks all.
Actually, I see some benefit in running more than one distro. If only to keep my mind active...!

Yeah there’s nothing wrong with that. I periodically do an arch install and use it until it breaks. Keeps me on my toes.

Welcome to the forums and Bodhi Linux, sjash. The transition to Moksha is a bit different than a transition to a more "traditional" desktop, but it's really efficient both for workflow and machine overhead. Once you get used to it and/or use it a bit, it's rather intuitive. I find users overthink it! Regardless, have fun exploring and welcome again!

Thanks.
Not had any problem with the desktop. Whenever I meet anything different on a computer, I just play with it until I've worked out what it does. It took an hour or so of exploring.

sjash, here is a good reference book produced by one of the members of this forum. It is free, downloadable, and helpful with dealing with Bodhi. It has helped me very much when I first started using Bodhi and I still refer back to it from time to time. www.smashwords.com/books/view/1086439
