How do I filter hard drive partitions for the "Places" submenu? I created a rule for the UDEV subsystem to hide Windows NTFS partition /dev/sda2 in the Thunar sidebar as described here, and it works. But the partition is presented in the "Places" submenu of the Moksha desktop menu anyway.

Ok, will answer my question myself. I created the file /etc/udev/rules.d/99-hide.rules and to hide partition /dev/sda2 in the Thunar sidebar I wrote line: KERNEL=="sda2", ENV{UDISKS_IGNORE}="1" But to hide one from the "Places" menu I need the second line: KERNEL=="sda2", ENV{UDISKS_PRESENTATION_HIDE}="1" AFAIK the second parameter is obsolete for udisks2 subsystem and therefore the source file of the places module must be updated to support the first one. Here is the part of code that must be patched: // skip volumes with presentation.hide set
if (e_ukit_property_bool_get(udisks_ret, "DevicePresentationHide", &err) || err)
return;
Unfortunately I can't find value for the UDISKS_IGNORE parameter to replace "DevicePresentationHide".
