No. Ubuntu 22 would be more of a resource hog and I don't like Ubuntu tracking its users. Since Bodhi 6 is supported through April 2025 I'm in no hurry. Hopefully Bodhi 7 will be based on Ubuntu 22.04 and will provide support through April 2027.

OK, this news was a challenge for me. I have never tried this procedure to perform a rolling update. Until today. I went through the method and did upgrade Bodhi to Ubuntu 22.04 core. In my case almost 2000 packages were needed to upgrade. It also took some while. Frankly I expected ruined OS with a need of reinstalling Bodhi but no, it booted correctly. Problems: - No wifi, no ethernet. Network-manager applet was gone. I needed to install network-manager-gnome (with mobile tethering) which brings the whole gnome desktop I did not like. - Not working Terminology. Installing package from repo via apt was not a solution due some deps conflicts. It looks bodhi repo needs to be added in source list. I ended up with installing by hand with dpkg. Anyway, working - My slovak keyboard layout is gone. Gnome settings took control or something... These are my observations after some minutes of using. I expect some more issues in the near future. Anyway, this procedure seems to be not the best method for upgrading. Waiting for BL7 ISO will be more straighforward me think Stefan

My only reason for upgrading is for 2 programs shotcut and inkscape. they are still on very old releases in Ubuntu20 (more than 2 years old) which loses many features.(i didn't like the appimages of these programs)
firefox is removed from ubuntu repos in ubuntu22. Only available as snaps.
It seems upgrading from 20 to 22 has issues. I didn't have courage to upgrade, currently using bl6 as daily driver.
Maybe a debian BL7??

Yes, shotcut is available in version 20.02 in BL 6. Version 22.01 in Ubuntu 22.04 repos. BUT, you can have 22.04 as portable bin possible to download from project web. It is pretty easy to unpack tar package and make a personal launcher in Bodhi. Feel free to ask. I can guide you.
