Oh, its ChromeOS Flex!
I made this iso and booted it live a couple weeksa go to check it out. The main thing that puts it in a completely different class than peppermint, in my opinion, is that peppermint is actual gnu/linux! This chromeos flex cannot run linux apps and can't run android apps. It's basically an appliance for running chrome and web apps.
I'm not saying it doesn't have a possible use case, but I don't really see it; lightweight linux distros like bodhi (and even ones like slax or something) can run chrome anyway, plus some linux apps! Of course they're higher maintenance. This thing is certainly simple and would be fine for public computer for example...

I did look at Chrome OS (from afar) and decided to not try it. The software is limited, as the only software available is in their store.
Many people don't know this beforehand. Someone asked me about a Chromebook and I tried to tell them this. They wanted something cheap.
Of course everything gets reported to Google servers with this. So that's another thing.
