Nice. I still say Bodhi beats lubuntu and mint. But I guess I’m biased (and I’ve tried both mint and lubuntu, neither of which are useable on my actual old hardware) lol

asahilinux.org/2022/03/asahi-linux-alpha-release/There's room for everyone. I read reviews and comments on the net but in the end i only trust my personal opinion after giving a distro some time to explore as my daily driver. Asahi linux serves apple hardware with certain cpus Perhaps i should put this post in other distros section but wanted to say perhaps the best distro that fits all needs - use cases does not exist. It is good though that in this forum all members share the same opinion on which is the best distro.

I have ran all those distro's on the unixcop.com/top-5-list.Bodhi was by far the fastest and best looking. It took me a while to get used to Moksha Desktop settings.I run Bodhi daily now and thanks for a great Distro

I did not try many distro, but in my experience the only two than can be compared with Bodhi, from the performance point of view, are Antix and Puppy. I´m using BookwormPup64 on a VM on our server, and it works very good, even with 1 vCPU and 1 Gb ram.

Salix Linux and ArchBang were both very good.I also tried Elive Linux it uses Enlightenment. It's very bloated not a fan.I preferred Bodhi linux once I got used to Moksha Desktop.

It is very hard to beat Bodhi Linux when it comes to Enlightenment. So far I have found no other distro better at doing it than Bodhi Linux!

I have to agree, I always heard good things about Bodhi Linux but Enlightenment always scared me off.Moksha desktop makes all the difference.

Bodhi is the best :-) I do have Linux Mint XFCE on a 10" netbook but it's a bit weighty and slower. Don't like Lubuntu - not sure why. Couldn't get on with Anti X - not sure why. I used to love Crunchbang - kind of - when it existed. Don't even mention Puppy Linux to me - not my cup of tea at all.

By the way I'm not sure that link is secure. The first time I clicked on it I got taken to a page with a big yellow advert for something. Then my antivirus (on windows) popped up and said it blocked a threat.
