As you know, troubleshooting issues is guess work unless you provide information about your system. if you are not cli savvy enough to be able to post your own diagnostic info, it would help if you could use the cli tool inxi, which is included in Bodhi.
"inxi shows system hardware, CPU, drivers, Xorg, Desktop, Kernel, GCC version(s), Processes, RAM usage, and a wide variety of other useful information."
