I would very much appreciate an e25 version! I am running the e24 version of bl6 - its exactly what I want, smooth and fast, and the very rare glitches are rather due to mistypes on my part than on any instability of the system. I'm very much for the pure enlightenment experience.
Also, I would prefer network manager, I am just used to it. But I remember connman from an older version of bodhi (I think), and I will adapt if necessary. :-)

Hello
Do you still have the ISO and could you share it on a torrent? I've erased mine quite a while ago.
I too like the "vanilla" E.

I tried e25 on ubuntu server, and noticed the entire settings panel stuff is available from start menu....
I also get a box chasing the mouse cursor in wayland...
Also noticed the eventor app has only icons, no drop down menus, gotta hover and read to learn what it can do. Not 100% sure what this app is for either, but obviously something enlightenment programming related.

All the settings is available from the menu in Moksha too. You just need to enable that feature. Jeff suppressed that in one bodhi release.

I tried using it once when we were working on the vice theme. I couldn’t use it. Or at least I found manually editing edc files easier than using it in the end.

... This is a setting, in Moksha, it is turned off by default using the Bodhi profile and in e25 it is turned on. You can turn it on in moksha if you wish. It is on the settings panel under Menus-->Configuration Panel on Moksha. On e25 that same config setting is found under Advanced-->Configuration Panel.

Most important, this 335mb cannot beat the 200mb i now have with bl6... Not everyone likes rasters new flat theme and icons for elementary. You can of course install whatever icons you wish and try to find a more suitable theme. Sadly there are no enlightenment/elementary themes out there that fully support elementary now nor are there any I know of that are bug free aside from the one shipped with EFL. And to make matters worse it is not easy to modify or create a new theme. Enlightenment does not need or ship with a plymouth theme, that would be supplied by the distro you are using or installed/modified by you. Memory usage is slightly more critical but yes Moksha uses less mem by default. That is to be expected as Moksha does less. I am not going to go into all the differences between Moksha and enlightenment 25, alot of it would make no sense to a person not familiar with the internals of enlightenment (both e17/Moksha and e25). From what I have saw and heard most Bodhi users of course prefer Moksha. That is what they are used to and Moksha and its theme has been developed with feedback from our users.

github.com/BodhiDev/bodhi6packages/commit/e24d2cba9595495d06099cf87a62092e4d8d2a25Thought this was the new e25 default theme named Plymouth. As far as e17/moksha and e25. From my experience and by what you just said i will stick with moksha till this project is abandoned. Less is more for me. Moreover i have seen many projects adding features, changing UI every two years but not taking care ie for bugs or security issues known but left there for ages. Do not want to mention examples with names because i cannot tell anything bad about an open source project. Since i am just a user i do not have the right to criticize a product that has behind it hours of humans work offered to us all. I am very supportive to all foss projects. But i have the right to choose.

Yea, unfortunatelly I saw this seq fault several times in my e24 installation under VM. A VM related bug? Not sure. I have never had it installed on real HW.
