Hello A colleage of mine mentioned FreeTube client for YT yesterday. I am testing it right now and wanted to share this info with you. Nice, open source client with categories and embeded player for people with older machines and problematic YT in Web browser. The only downside, I can not see 32 bit deb package version in download section. Probably needs to be compiled from sorce. freetubeapp.io/Stefan

+1 For the music.
One is my all time favourite, especially the part in the middle with the drums...

There is already a pending software request for this app a few posts down from this one... bodhilinux.boards.net/thread/769/regarding-addition-freetube-software-repositoriesI'm quite happy with it, especially on my kids computers. I turned off everything in settings except subscriptions and history, and just subscribed toa few select things for them, plus I turned off the search bar by editing CSS, but hopefully that becomes a setting soon too.... It is electron based (like discord, element, vscode) which I believe means cannot compile for 32-bit. But I could be wrong. And dunno if it would help people who have problematic youtube in a browser, as its uses chrome as its backend, hence why it needs so much ram...

It is also my understanding that no electron based apps work or can be compiled on 32 bit. I can investigate in further tho.
