I've been having trouble getting rid of an extra entry for Brave browser in the Menu--Applications--Internet area. I can't find the area that lists the Internet apps to remove it. I've included a screenshot. I want to keep the first Brave entry.

I think those entries are generated by .desktop files in /usr/share/applications. You might have an extra .desktop file in there. I have 4 entries over 2 categories for Arduino IDE which I also need to fix...

I think those entries are generated by .desktop files in /usr/share/applications. You might have an extra .desktop file in there. I have 4 entries over 2 categories for Arduino IDE which I also need to fix... There wasn't an extra Brave entry in that applications folder, but I do remember deleting an extra Brave entry in the .local/share/applications a few days ago. It was not wanting to let go of the moeksha green icon, as I was wanting to use the more colorful icon Brave normally provides. I ended up deleting all Brave entries in those share/applications folders and creating a new Desktop entry in Terminology.. echo "[Desktop Entry]Type=ApplicationCategories=Network;Name=Brave Web BrowserExec=/opt/brave.com/brave/brave-browserIcon=brave-browser" >~/.local/share/applications/brave-browser.desktopSet the icon correctly and everything seems to be normal now. I still don't know why this particular program had the double entry. I had replaced other web browser icons in similar fashion without it happening.
