Is it possible to switch to normal bahaviour when using mouse\touchpad on Desktop. Current Moksha behaviour: 1. left mouse click : openning Menu 2. right mouse click : openning favourite apps And selection doesnt work on Desktop.
Normal behaviour: 1. left mouse click : select icon 2. right mouse click : openning dialog menu Selection should work on Desktop

That wouldn’t be “normal” behaviour for moksha lol, but you can stop the main menu appearing with left click on desktop in settings if you prefer that behaviour. 🙂
I personally use left click desktop main menu quite a lot, and miss it at work on windows 10. I also now miss the window snap update Stefan just released in the latest moksha when using windows. Bodhi is ruining my work life 😂

Moksha has its "normal" key bindings. There is no possibility to have a group selection which you know from MS Window. But you can select the desktop icons with left mouse click, holding the shift key and continue with selection. Sure, you can change all key bindings in key binding settings.
Hippy: Windows 10 has edge snap by default. I use it daily at my office on Win 10. But the behavior is slightly different. In Bodhi the window maximize immediately after mouse edge touch while in Windows you need to mouse up the window tittle bar.

You can easily turn off showing the tooltip i.imgur.com/1gYYr9H.jpgS EDIT: if you do not like the behaviour, change it. Try not to fight with Moksha settings. It does make sense after a while of using and it is addictive. At least for me

Stefan Off topic Must be switched off by whoever rolls out the install in work then. All the settings are locked down. It’s the only time I use Win.

Of course it does work Left click on one icon, then hold SHIFT and select another icon. It will group the all icons in between. With CTRL you can select icons individually. S

Isn't this all current & normal already by default?
#1 depends where your mouse is; if blank part of desktop, it behaves like the top list; if you have desktop icons enabled or have put an ibar or any other gadget on the desktop, then left click is select.
Same with #2, depends where the mouse is.. .if blank part of desktop , it opens favorites, if icon or gadget it opens dialog menu.
I no longer use desktop icons on any machine, but at one point I had my kids computers set up with desktop icons for launcher shortcuts, and disabled mouse-over and enabled single click to launch. Now I've got my kids computers using the everything starter instead (have customized settings in that, made it full screen, made the icons large, enabled single click launch) and can keep the desktop clean. On my own PC I use a 3rd party launcher (plank dock)... When you see me post screenshots with the default taskbar (or default theme), it's from virtual machines I leave setup as default for testing purposes.
