When I turn on the shelf settings, there are active buttons at the bottom: OK, Apply, Close. I make changes (the buttons do not change), press Apply, only the OK button becomes inactive, and it remains to press the Close button. Although it should be the opposite: while there are no changes, the OK and Apply buttons should not be active, and after pressing Apply, the button should become inactive. I suggest: remove the OK button altogether, and the Apply button should be inactive until there are no changes.
Or is it just me?

Good point. I will try to look why are OK and Apply active when settings are opened. It is a bug.
thx

I played with what you described, and agree your two suggestions would be more intuitive (although also realize, there is no functional problem now...)
1. Remove "OK" Button. It doesnt seem to do anything unique. Currently it behaves identical to the "Close" button if no changes have been applied. And if changes have been applied, then it greys out and is completely useless. Plus, for anyone using standard theme/borders we got the title bar with the window close button as well.
2. Make "Apply" button inactive until user makes a change that needs applying. This would be cool I guess, more "polished" behavior. However, I did experience something slightly different. When I press Apply after making a change, both Apply and OK become inactive.

Thanx for feedback. I will look at those settings later. Gimme some time for relax. I am pretty exhausted after last Moksha release... Stefan I would enjoy a bit more my desktop experience if i was not reading this. Please Ylee and Stefan, do only show love to my laptops and desktop (by maintaining the os they rely on so as to be able to work, so as eventually i will be able to work) when you have time, and when you feel happy doing it. For me all new features are not important, if the following is not true: "Hope you enjoy using BL 6 as much as we enjoyed doing it"

Doing all that stuff is a passion and real love to this distro despite our tiredness. We also want to do all PRO way. We want the Moksha desktop to be competitive with other modern desktops like XFCE or LXDE or LXQT. We have something other desktops miss - lightness, speed and stability. Why not to include some new features as notification actions, window edge snap, shortcuts preview and others. New users expect these common features and we have them now. I think Bodhi users have distro in best condition in history so why not to be happy about it. I am tired but happy Stefan PS: I am only not happy with pointing to minor bugs like OK button. It looks like someone is hunting the microscopic issues which do not matter. No a single word like "Thank you guys, you are doing it well". No, "OK button is an another issue which should be fixed". Sorry I was a bit personal. Maybe because I know how hard the Bodhi developing is. DO not take me too seriously

I know how hard it is. I already know how hard it is to code in c, i also tried to follow some tutorials on the enlightenment page. IMHO people count more than any feature, and i wish i could be more clever and contribute back to your and ylee's good work. Be sure again i really appreciate your gift (the os) to us all. Since it is just you two, it is more personal. I also hate tech companies. So hearing in this forum that yet another user will continue using her laptop for some more time, this makes me happy. And to bring some smile to us all. Back in the day we were studying, and Java just was coming out, a friend of mine was saying. C is for men, java (without the pointers) is for ladies. Hope this is not miss understood by any woman reading this, it was said like it is is a hard work, like having to break stones. To sum up, my OK button is OK, when my devs (like you said) are happy and relaxed.

I really hope that the comments in intrusiveness and pettiness refer to me as the author of the topic, and now everyone can ignore minor mistakes. Yippee! About medium problems (unexpectedly at night, the wallpaper disappeared, only white color, reconfiguration, reinstallation, reboot - they do not help) I am afraid to mention now, it is easier to tranquilly reinstall the system for the third time so as not to offend anyone. I won't talk about it anymore. I admire your passion and disinterestedness of your little team, welcome the popularization of my beloved Linux and the revival and support of the original OS Bodhi. That's what I wanted to say for a long time, but I was shy, because these are just words. Many users, unfortunately, can do nothing to help you in your business, only their daily "testing" of the system. Don't dismiss them like flies. I propose to start a topic - "a box for messages that do not require an urgent response", the coders themselves will determine the need and time for these problems.
