What have you got running on the machine. The more modules you load the slower and more memory Bodhi uses. And the larger browsers can suck power. Other than that have you changed any settings for moksha? Some more info about your machine and what you’ve got loaded and perhaps a SS of htop to see processes and memory usage would be useful for us to help troubleshoot.

By any chance are you using a compositor?
If you are using comptonmod, I've seen this kinda behavior cuz windows have some animation open/close. So it's probably a setting.
It doesnt happen with clean picom install tho...

Maybe it is the right time to find the best compton.conf file for Bodhi purposes. I will replace the current one in my module. Maybe a nice homework for you Enigma9o7 Stefan

I think I wasn't clear in my previous reply. I was guessing a compositor might be causing it, if you were using it, due to it fading windows in/out or something. If you werent using compositor already, I dont think it is related, I was guessing that cuz I've seen it make it appear slow on my old machines. So I dunno what your delay is about...

It looks you have shadows there, so you are using a compositor. Try to disable it and tell us if better...

If you have Compton enabled go to Settings > Modules and deselect it.

How did you enable a compositor? I can clearly see you have it enabled...
