Hello there Again the muse invited me (lol) so let me introduce an another cute Moksha feature. I know this feature from the MS Windows but also from some Linux desktops. Sometimes it could be fine to maximize/unmaximize window with a mouse gesture more than with controls on the left/right title border which can be small to point with mouse cursor. I made a little feature when the user can drag a window and snap it to the top screen edge. The the window will be maximized. Also for unmaximize drag the border tilte bar down. I think this could be very uselful for touch screen users and their finger gestures. We will see Now feature in action: www.dropbox.com/s/annawrrgz0uqez0/Kazam_screencast_00010.mp4?dl=0The feature needs to enable in menu->settings->settings_panel->windows_geometry Now a little homework for native speakers. Can you help me with the suitable, short but descriptive text for the check button? I am not OK with mine. THX and enjoy Stefan

I'm not a fan of window snap myself (have tried it before and always seems like I'm fighting it), but good work, I know some people like that! If you are looking for even more ideas, how about about double-click title bar to maximize/restore. This works in some desktops but not Moksha..

I did not wanna invent a wheel. My feature is not possible to do with whole Moksha range of possibilities while mouse double click on title bar for maximize/restore is doable very easily. Sure, Moskha default is a window shade/unshade. You can rebind it in signal bindings settings. Moreover the edge snap feature will be off by default and user needs to enable if wants to use it Stefan

Moskha default is a window shade/unshade.
Ah I forgot about that shade/unshade, but that doesn't work on maximized windows anyway. But anyways not a bug I dont care about shade/unshade personally. Forgot I wrote.

enigma9o7NP, I think shade/unshade event on mouse double click is very unusual. There is also the mouse wheel gesture for shadow/unshadow. It sounds more sane for me. Maybe we should change the double click to maximize/restore. I am not sure Ylee will agree, tho. He is against breaking rules. Stefan

I am not sure whoch text you need improved in the above image "Maximize window when top edge drag" This is my text for Check Button which enables the feature. I am looking for something better. Anyway, this feature was asked several times on forums or discord. It is a shame for me to reply the Moksha lacks a feature, lol. As you said it will be nice to have it for people who are accustomed to being using it. More over it is a great brain zumba for me. This one was sorta tricky. Stefan

Automatically maximize window when dragged to the top edge of the screen. Thanx but I need a shorter and descriptive text. This is very long. It will resize the dialog to weird size. Try another one, lol S

I was trying to think of something all night. It’s a complicated concept to fit into a small sentence. But I think “Snap maximise to top of screen”?

I have issues... I see xfce whisker memu with all these colours and other distros all look so ugly to me compared to arc green... Seems i will not look elsewhere for the next few years. Not even change the theme even though ylee is intensely working on Moonlight theme
