So if you're like me you'll probably end up Installing Bodhi-Linux and for some reason your Wi-Fi won't work.[/div]
so you look online, and a good chunk o' the videos tell you to use Ethernet, those that don't are usually low quality.
Welp, I couldn't do ethernet since I don't got one, so I did this with the help of some nice People.
also idk where to put this step but
Then look for somethin' like this
Make sure you know what's installed
When I did it there was none, under the Network controller
sudo rfkill list
to make sure a program that can block your wifi isn't installed
1:Check to see if you have Wi-Fi first
Always check first, so you're not wasting Time
you should know where to go from the startup page
2:Enter the "Terminology"
Now, you can just Copy N' Paste these for ease of time Xp

lspci
Then look for somethin' like this
01:00.0 Network controller: Broadcom Inc. and subsidiaries BCM43142 802.11b/g/n (rev 01)
Make sure you know what's installed
Then you paste
lspci -k
Yu look for the Network controller and you might or might not see this
01:00.0 Network controller: Broadcom Inc. and subsidiaries BCM43142 802.11b/g/n (rev 01)
Subsystem: Hewlett-Packard Company BCM43142 802.11b/g/n
Kernel driver in use: wl
Kernel modules: wl

No the ethernet is not the same
3:if you got no kernel go to this link
(btw, obviously you'll need another device to download it)
download the one matching your system (mine was amd yours might be different)
anyways, download the .deb file to a external storage(Usb, SD Card, hecc, even a phone maybe)
go back to the linux PC and copy the media to your desktop via file manager
then back in terminal go and insert
cd Desktop
(It's case sensitive btw)
and then
and then
sudo dpkg -i bcmwl-kernel-source_6.30.223.271+bdcom-0ubuntu4_amd64.deb/bcmwl-kernel-source_6.30.223.271+bdcom-0ubuntu4_i386.deb
you should get a notification in the top corner!
also when asking for a password you can't see what you're typing
hope this helps!
