I'm relatively new to the linux scene, as in I've only been using it a few years. I also started with bodhi; I played with a couple other distros in the week or two before settling on bodhi, but most of my further linux knowledge is from reading or playing in virtual machines. But in the time I've learned and played, there is one thing that super amazing/unique about bodhi. It is the *ONLY* small distro using a unique Desktop Environment (Moksha). No other linux distro at all uses enlightenment or a fork of it, at all. Almost every other major distro, for their desktop, uses xfce, kde, lxde/lxqt or gnome/cinnamon/mate. Nobody else is unique. This is a pretty cool thing about Bodhi. Stefan and Robert make actual changes to our desktop, not just minor stuff like other distros do to tweak existing desktops. Anyways that's really cool. Really.
Bodhi is a really cool Linux Distribution. Really. Robert & Stefan amazing. Thanks guys.

Thanx for your very positive and motivating reaction. Yes, Bodhi is unique and not many distrubution use E by default. Although Moksha is cool and nice, we (with Robert) are aware of Moksha's limitations. I must confess I use to switch to XFCE sometimes to see how devs handle some troubles I have in Moksha or to see what features dev created. It is great for inspiration and I made several changes in the past to have similar great features like action buttons in notifications etc. The current Enlightenment is also more matured than Moksha in many ways but lacks some features we added to Moksha. Simply, Moksha is a fork under heavy development and we do our best. As we devs getting more knowledge, the Moksha is better and richer on features which is fine. There is still a long TO-DO list and some plans for next releases but we still only 2 guys on the board (with some cool guys around for WEB and Support) with families, duties, hobbies. Each positive reaction make us happy and show us all this difficult and time consuming work does make sense.
Stefan

There is a distro called elive with enlightment. I still for many reasons prefer bodhi linux. And i have tested almost each distro out there. Stefan your work and ylee's work make sense since it is just you two friends that we thank everyday for this gift. A proprietary os says to its users: your hardware is not good for the os i create. Bodhi is unique since it says exactly the opposite. I do my best so that your machine works as fast and smooth as possible even it is kind of dated

Oh yes and that Beta !!!! OMG i love it.
Before i heard about Bodhi, i tried to look at that Elive thingy too. But ... OMG... sorry , this is somehow strange... you cannot get a 64bit version, even if on that page is written that there would be one beta version that would be somehow (hybrid) a 64bit version.. somehow? oO ... but the big joke was, you cannot get that version, because you first have to spend money OR to write a nice review of Elive. Öhmm how can i write a review or nice things about Elive, if i cannot download it and try it? Strange.... very very strange.... I had a bad feeling...
