I have a quite semi-old computer. An Asus E402n with 14 inch screen. I believe it is now 3 year old. The "weakest" point is the tiny harddrive, only 30 Gigabyte (Yes , I have double checked and its not 32 Gigabyte but 30. I have never seen it anywhere else). It was sold with Windows 10 but now it is impossible to use internet because I got warnings about low memory every time I connect to internet. So I am looking for a lighter OS to install on this Asus E402n. I did download Bodhi 6.0.0 (the 64-bit called HWE). I did install it to a USB-flash stick (using Rufus). There are never a problem to boot from this USB-stick ( and I can also use the parameter toram). The problem is the computers touchpad stops working in every Live-session. It always stops working when I connect a cable for internet-connection, and if I try to start Bodhi without connecting to internet ( for example looking on photos on an SD-card), the touchpad often stops working after random time ( sometimes after 10 minutes). The touchpad always works the first minute after I have started a new Live-session ( I have tried it many times). I did borrow a "classic" external mouse from a friend once one the touchpad stopped and I found out that it did work with a external ( USB-connected mouse) while the computer was absolutely dead. Are there any other who tried Bodhi on a laptop and experience similar problem? The touchpad stops working after some minutes ( or maybe not working at alll ). ? ? ?
English is not my native language ( I apologize for spelling misstakes). However when it comes to computers I'm used to software with english menus (my first comuter was an Amiga 500) and there was never any OS available in Swedish).
