x86/cpu: SGX disabled by BIOS
I have absolutely no idea how this happened nor how to fix "x86/cpu: SGX disabled by BIOS".
Been trying to run a live version of Solus Plasma and can't because of this.
SGX in BIOS is set Enabled, but booting reports it disabled.

Is there a way of disabling SGX in the bios? There’s a few posts on other distro forums about this but I can’t seem to find much, apart from something to do with upgrading the CPU.

There are 3 options - Disable - Enable - Software (which been used before switching to enable)
I went as far as installing Windows 10 and using Intel's SGX tool, showed it fine, then told it was a waste of time.
Bodhi is back the way i had it before.

x86/cpu: SGX disabled by BIOS still shows even after Intel's tool showed to be fine and working.
No idea. Even searched "SGX disabled by BIOS" and came back with lots of stuff, nothing made sense to me.

Bodhi is working great. Yeah so did Windows too, blah blah. Really suspecting one of many distros I tried casued it, so many can't remember which one it was. I have saved are Solus Plasma and Budgie, PCLinuxOS, these worked preiously before trying which ever caused it.
EDIT: Solus Budgie and PCLinuxOS haven't tried yet though.

Try a BIOS update (when available).

Try a BIOS update (when available). No idea how, also scared of it.
Thats something that could turn PC into a doorstop if not careful.
But, it is an option.

Update:
SGX disabled by BIOS remains if enabled, disabled, software.
Ran tests, put PCLinuxOS and Solus Budgie and Plasma on USB stick, only one that didn't load regardless what SGX was set for was Solus Plasma.
Solus Plasma could be the cause or one of the other distros*, seems I have a bad Solus Plasma download.
* not Solus Budgie nor PCLinuxOS.
