I have Bodhi 2.4.0 on it now, kept this thing not so hidden.
Now trying to figure what next.
Only things I can get are:
- Celeron Processor - 512 MB Ram
Connecting via wired and wireless do not work. Its seen both ways, but no go.

I don't know if it will help, but I see that 2 GB RAM is possible with this machine.
With the way web pages and browsers work these days, 1 GB RAM seems like a minimum to work ok.

Certainly 2GB better than 512MB. Never opened it up before to see how things are, up to the task though.
Getting more will have wait though.
Battery doesn't seem to last either, I do have the power cord. Another battery is something that'll wait much longer.

Oopsy, Bodhi 3.2.1, not 2.4.0
Seems I cannot use USB sticks, none are seen on booting, BIOS is so basic. Anything newer than 3.2.1 has to wait on getting blank DVD's.
Even the version I'm running works quite will, still can't get internet to work.

My Pentium 3 also does not allow for USB boot. You can make a CD or Floppy disk. Memory Stock has a 2 GB chip for $14 US. I just type in Asus Eee PC 900 ram upgrade in the search engine. The internet connection, maybe the ethernet network card is bad. Have you tried Win XP recently, I assume that's what it came with, to see if it still connects. When I upgraded my Pentium 3 to ethernet many years ago, Win XP and Lubuntu found the connection right away. My old Athlon from 2004, I couldn't install an ethernet network card because of the cheap design, but I was able to get an adapter that connected through a USB port.

I did try Win XP Pro from another PC that I currently use. Asus was giving Stop Errors everytime.
Wireless worked before my brother gave it to me. Then again, may be sitting and not doing anything for quite sometime has something to do with it, not sure.
Not really having any luck with it.
