Hi there!
some weeks ago I installed Bodhi 5.1 Legacy Release (32-bit) on a Schenker notebook. This notebook ran Bodhi (I think it was 5.0) before without problems. Since the update it's WiFi connection is very halting. It's LAN connection to the same router is working uninterrupted. A WiFi connection of a second Schenker notebook with Bodhi 5.1 to the same router is working fine, too. I have found out that the second notebook is fitted with a Qualcomm Atheros whilst the notebook causing problems is fitted with an Intel wireless adapter 3165 (rev 81).
At this point my really humble Linux know how ends.
Well, I have found a recommendation what to do but this one is dated 2015. So I wonder if it makes sense to try that!? Another link I found is the intel page containing the adapters firmware for Linux. I wonder if it might be an idea to install that!? Is their indication "Kernel 4.2+" ok!?
Can anybody help?
Thanks a lot!

Problem is solved! It's not clear what did cause the problem but a kernel update did fix it.

Problem is solved! It's not clear what did cause the problem but a kernel update did fix it. Excellent! I would imagine the module/driver you needed wasn’t included in the previous kernel, but that’s just a guess. As long as it’s working that’s the main thing.
