It seems that anytime I'm playing audio with a web page, it automatically disables the screen blanking feature.
It's happening on both Chromium and Opera. I haven't tried other web browsers.
I do know that on Linux Mint Cinnamon, if the audio being played is not the active tab, the power management will go to blank screen. I like to do this sometimes, have audio being played on YouTube, but making sure another tab on that same web browser is active. That way the screen will still go blank.
With Bodhi 6 it doesn't seem to matter if I switch tabs. The blanking feature simply won't activate if I'm playing an audio stream with a web browser.

OK, I will look if possible to reproduce here. In the meantime. Could you do the little test with iconify the browser window or unmaximize the window? What happens after that?

Yes, you are right. I can reproduce it My temporary solution: If your PC or laptop does not have "turn off screen" key, bind your key shortcut with this command "sleep 1 ; xset dpms force off" in Key binding setting. i.imgur.com/lXWRobN.jpgAnytime you need to blank your screen while listening music, just press the shortcut Not sure if useful but this is the instant and working solution so far Stefan

OK, that works. I did have to type in the command, as Paste wouldn't work with either mouse or keyboard (alt v).
I could also power off the monitor.
Unmaximize browser had no effect on returning the blank feature.

Yea mate. Sorry for no paste feature. We have a serious Moksha problem when adapted to newer EFL version which is a Moksha library backend. So yes, in Moksha entry widget is not possible to paste in BL 6. Nevertheless I am happy this workaround is working for you. Not as elegant as blanking after time but I really have no idea how to do that for now...

I found that sometimes I accidentally leave the Caps Lock on, so my Win + s wouldn't work. I'm like wth. I figured it out and added the same command with Win + S Here's a screenshot of the key binding. For some reason the S and s appear the same size in the menu.
