It's wild that it's hotter in Portland and Seattle than in the jungles of South Texas!

104F (40C) right now. Still have approx. 3 1/2 hours of heating left.
Current temp was our high yesterday.
Good thing our house has central air. Also, this heat doesn't last, at least the 100F (38C) plus temps don't.

On the positive side, humans won't have to cook food much longer, it will self-cook in the fields. So that's pretty exciting

Well, in The Netherlands we had the coldest spring in a decade.... A thick layer of snow in bloody April. Not good for the heating bill. Currently temperatures are more or less on normal summer level, but a good summer with a lot of sun and high temperatures it won't become, I'm afraid. Oh well, I certainly don't long for something like the current heatwave in the USA. All the best, guys....

Minnesota (and most of the Midwest) came off some record breaking heat a week or so ago, but nothing like they are getting in the NE part of the states. Luckily we are getting some rain finally...was dry, dry, dry.
Shade, slow movement and hydration!

Finally cooled, still warm, just not blistering hot. Today is roughly 20 or so degrees cooler.
June 26th, high of 102F (39C) June 27th, high of 104F (40C) June 28th, high of 107F (42C)
Like to say that I wished that I lived somewhere else, but hot weather usually doesn't last around here.

Unseasonably cold here in South East England - max temperature today forecasted 18C. The summer solstice day here (June 21) was colder than the winter solstice day (Dec 21)!

Quite Clement in the southwest today. Bristol is in a weird topological bowl though. Kind of has its own micro climate

Rather have the unseasonably cool/cold over heat anyday. Only thing I like about summer is having all the daylight hours.
Correction: summer heat happens all the time, having 100F (38C) plus does not.
