I have access to a decent laptop. But there is also Windows on this laptop. And I am not allowed to install Linux on it.
I want to install Linux on an old computer to find out if it works and how it works. The reason I am interested in Linux and especially in Bodhi Linux is because I don't understand why so many decent computers are thrown away just because the software is outdated, while the hardware still can operate perfectly. This is in my opinion a waste of a lot of resources. And the waste products are a heavy burden for the environment. But that is another topic
I am going to make a post about this in the 'Introduce Yourself' Board. That is why I prefer to install Linux on an existing computer instead of buying a new computer to install it on.
Yes, I have tried to re-run the installation. The result was the same as the first time.
