Maximize or expand settings panel, or drag the category icons on the top around. It's seems its farther right on bl6 but it's still there, you just probably had your window too small and didn't notice the little triangle arrow things that indicate there are more stuff.
BL 5.1 Standard
BL 6.0 Apppack
You first mentioned a way to get to settings panel from start menu. FYI, a quicker way is click on the shelf gadget. It is loaded by default but not there, just right click on bottom shelf, contents, and add settings. Then you'll have an icon for quicker access.

Thanks. Learning my way around.
The change is NOT persistent.

What caused the change to revert?
If it's only a certain app, some apps can override moksha's cursor, not sure how that works, but if you mention which app might possibly have an idea, dunno. There's also the option of switching to x cursor which seems to not change as much in apps.
In my experience, I was testing moksha vice versa theme and earlier this year and it has weird shape and size cursor, so I switched to x cursor for the first time then.... in another recent thread I believe I learned the x-cursor may be controlled by icon theme? not sure.
I think you'll never stop learning.... I still find new features (and quirks) of Bodhi regularly.

Sorry.
Should have said when using Chromium, reverts to small cursor.
