I used the commands from the official site sudo add-apt-repository ppa:jonmagon/crow-translate sudo apt update these two worked fine, but...
sudo apt install crow-translate Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done E: Unable to locate package crow-translate What can I do to fix this problem?

I used the commands from the official site
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:jonmagon/crow-translate sudo apt update these two worked fine,
That ppa doesn't offer a bionic version, but it does offer focal (and groovy). Bodhi Linux 5 supports bionic repositories, Bodhi Linux 6 supports focal, and so the above does work in BL6, but not BL5. To fix, remove the PPA from BL5:
sudo rm /etc/apt/sources.list.d/jonmagon-ubuntu-crow*
To to use crow under 64-bit Bodhi Linux 5, you can install their release from github by pasting the following commands into terminal: cd /tmp wget https://github.com/crow-translate/crow-translate/releases/download/2.8.1/crow-translate_2.8.1_amd64.deb sudo apt install ./crow-translate_2.8.1_amd64.deb The disadvantage of direct install is you won't get updates as part of standard apt update process, which you would with PPA, but you'll have to install BL6 if you want to use that PPA as it is now. But in this case, looks to me like PPA has version 2.6.2 and the release version is newer anyway, maybe they are not keeping PPA updated...
If you are running bodhi legacy, you must build from source. If you need help with that I could probably figure it out, instructions are multiple steps tho building the binary then langauge pack blah blah and they werent nice enough to list the debian package names of the dependencies so gotta figure that out yourself etc...

Hmm thats weird. Thats what it was named for me. Maybe it didn't actually get added for you? It won't prevent installing manually, will just make your `sudo apt update` look messy with a wall of text about that PPA not containing anything useful.
You can just look in /etc/apt/sources.list.d folder with file manager, in that folder should be a file for any PPA you added. To remove just delete the file. If your `sudo apt update` looks clean, then nothing to worry about anyway, the main reason to remove it is housekeeping, not important.
