If you speak more than one language a great help to help improve Bodhi is to help with translations. One of my goals is much more support for other languages than we currently have. Usually this is perhaps difficult for beginners but in this case I am going to make it simple. The package which installs the Bodhi-appcenter in your menu really only installs a desktop file to /usr/share/applications.
Ihar Areshchankau, R0bur on github, has been generously improving our Russian translations, and recently added Russian to this desktop file:
As you can see we only have three 'strings' to translate
To help with this translation simple tell us the language and these phrases in whatever language(s) you know. Or if you would prefer and are familiar with git you can do a pull request on our github page for Bodhi 5 packages. I have a github repo for BL6 packages but until the release it is a private repo. In this case it doesn't matter as I use the same deb file in Both releases. In the future I plan on creating just a BodhiPackages repo on github with the each version of Bodhi in a separate branch.
I will rebuild the deb file and add it to the repo when I feel enough languages have been added to make it worth my time. Really not wanting to make a new deb file for every language added
