I'm trying to build Moksha from sources in Bodhi Linux 5.1. I installed a fresh system in VM, updated it to the actual state and got sources from github.com/JeffHoogland/moksha. Then I installed packages as described in the section "Dependencies for building under Bodhi" of the file "moksha/README" and encountered first trouble: package "libpng12-dev" isn't available in repositories. I install "libpng-dev" package instead and try execute "./autogen.sh". It says that "autopoint" command is missed. Ok, I install autopoint package, execute "./autogen.sh" again and got a lot of warnings and errors (see attached file out.txt (4.3 KB)). Is there somewhere more actual instruction how to build Moksha?

Hi R0bur I have personal notes on how to build moksha from source. They are on my google docs (for my sins) you’re welcome to try and follow those. I don’t think there are any official how to’s for it as yet...I’ll link them here shortly. EDIT - a short while later... docs.google.com/document/d/1c4fA9J-xVHUMhkfVbJW63GFLh17OKusQEmigt6kbNV4/editNote: this is actually for BL6beta. I think there are dependency differences. I’ll check when I get home and edit here appropriately. Hope this helps in the meantime.

Thank you very much, Hippytaff!
I'll install BL6beta and try your method.

You’re welcome. I’ve just seen that there is an update today which needs testing. There are also instructions there to set up a testing environment which is helpful for the devs, if you’re able to do that. Anyway, Have fun.

Successfully built Moksha in Bodhi Linux 5.1 in very straightforward way.
# apt install doxygen pkg-config automake autopoint debhelper \ libefl-dev libasound2-dev libxext-dev libpam0g-dev \ libxcb-shape0-dev libxcb-keysyms1-dev libedbus-dev $ git clone https://github.com/JeffHoogland/moksha $ cd moksha $ ./autogen.sh $ ./configure && make && make install Thank you again for the correct list of dependencies! It was very helpful!
