hi there and thanks for letting me in! i'm a manjaro user but recently started to look for a lightweight distro so i can install on some old hardware and give it to individuals in need. i installed already linux mint mate on a couple of laptops but it was a bit slow. when i tried bodhi i was stunned by the look and the way it performs. i installed on laptop but have to postpone the delivery cause i can\t find a way to run appimages. can anyone help me on this one? Thank you on advance!

What happens when you try? Appimages usually require no dependencies other than a minimum glibc version..... and appimage appropriate to your architecture....
For example, to run a recently downloaded app image from command line for the first time...
chmod +x Downloads/whatever.i686.glibc227.appimage Downloads/whatever.i686.glibc227.appimage
