When i installed Bodhi i made a typing error in my login name. I tried to change it but login name doesnt seem to be the username. And now I am at a loss. My login name now is Eob and must be Rob Furthermore i want to change bodhi@bodhi-One-Z1401:~$ in rob@bodhi-One-Z1401:~$ How can I do that in a simple way Thnx

The "simple" way is reinstall, but you can probably manage a more complicated way. To change username, you just create another user and login as them. To transfer files copy your old home folder. When you add the new user, you will be prompted for a password for them and their full name. sudo adduser rob # follow the prompts to set password and name sudo usermod -aG sudo rob # give new user sudo permission sudo cp -rT /home/bodhi /home/rob # copy your homefolder to new user
then logout and login as rob before deleting the original bodhi account and folder you do not need anymore. sudo userdel bodhi # remove the account you dont need sudo rm -rf /home/bodhi # and the old homefolder Im only guessing here, but dont see any reason why this shouldn't work.

Just curious, did the method I suggested not work? If so I'd like to note that so somebody in the future doesn't try it... (or correct it if I knew what went wrong).
