Hello
I've downloaded the 5.1 Legacy ISO and created (twice) a usb boot with Rufus and I get a lot of errors. I've downloaded the ISO 2 times on different laptops and checked twice the USB drive for integrity.. as expected the drive is perfect.
I've tried to boot on 3 different laptops with same results. Anyone care to see if there is something wrong with the ISO from sourceforge?

There is a rule to create bootable USB with Rufus with DD mode. You have to set it up before "burning" process.

Stefan
I've created dozens of ISOS (mostly different versions of Bodhi) with Rufus and NEVER had any problems until now. The 6.0 alpha that I used was created the same way and it works on this laptop. The hdd laptop I've "transplanted" to this laptop had Bodhi 4.5 Legacy installed and it booted fine although it was installed for quite a different laptop before.
I wanted to install fresh and modify the partitions. It's the first time I use 5.1 Legacy so it might be something wrong with the ISO.

Still unclear, are you saying you used dd mode or not? You said dozens 'this way' but unsure if 'this way' means with dd mode or not.
If not, try that. You are prompted after selecting write if you want iso or dd mode, if you read it it tells you to try dd mode if iso doesnt work but suggests try iso mode first so you can use the remaining space on the usb drive as another parition. For bodhi 4.5, wirting with iso mode worked for me, but 5/5.1 wont boot without being written with dd, initramfs errors after telling it to install from menu. This is commonly reported problem...
If yes, forgive me for repeating what was already suggested, just making sure you actually tried it as your response was unclear...

Hello
I've rewritten the ISO to the usb drive using DD mode on Rufus and it worked. A bit strange as I ALWAYS used ISO with Rufus and never had problems before. I read fast Stefan's post and I thought he recommended unetbootin or DD commands.
Anyway thank you for your suggestions Stefan and Enigma.
