I hope you can help me.
I still have an old Nettop Targa NT9231 (2009) around and wanted to play Bodhi on it. Unfortunately, I have now found that the part can NOT boot from USB. In the BIOS there is only the possibility to boot from hard disk and there is still WIN XP on it.
How could I install Bodhi anyway. I am not an IT professional.

If you're lucky, you can boot from a usb hard disk. I have an old athlon and I have to select "hard disk" from the boot menu (not usb even tho its listed!!) to boot a dd formatted usb.
When you wrote the ISO to USB, did you use Rufus for Widnows? At the end, when asked if you want to use iso mode, did you change to dd? You must, and this is not default...
Alternatively - do you have dvd drive? write iso to dvd with xfburn or ummm w hatever windows sofware you have.... if you cannot install from usb you must be able to install from optical disc....
the problem is if you only have cdrom, bodhi too big for that....
edit: I just looked up the model, i shoulda realized, netbook, no dvdrom.... but you can install from usb

Following on from enigma9o7 sound advice. There is a wiki page on the Bodhi website that details how to create a bootable USB from the ISO using Rufus software and enabling the "DD" method during creation ( link). If* for any reason you cannot boot to USB (due to BIOS limitations), you can find some advice on the website wiki page relating to "plop boot manager" ( link) which is a utility that adds a boot menu on startup (allowing boot to USB).
