The series of icons present on my desktop (using the Moon theme):
They're all desktop configuration files ending in '.desktop' - except two. '!_gegevens_...' is a plain text document (ending in .txt), 'VRT-Canvas-Sporza-Ket...' is a playlist file ending in .m3u. Some of the programs I installed showed their own colourful icon directly, but some others (e.g. the two browsers) did only show a simple monochrome flat darkgrey icon attributed to it by the Bodhi Linux system. The same bland flat icons were shown when I put the TXT and M3U files on the desktop. I wanted to change these, which can be done from Right-clicking the particular icon, choosing File properties. The settings below offer the possibility to change the icon into something more meaningful and colourful (.svg or .png files): As you can see, I could change every icon EXCEPT the first one showing the .txt file, whatever the extension (.svg or .png) of the icon I picked. There is nothing wrong with the icon file, as I can pick it to change another desktop icon just fine. What's wrong here?
Second problem: If you look at the rounded corners of the window in the second attachment, there's something wrong there too: tiny black fills to make the window a rectangle. I suppose this was meant to be transparent and should show the background instead, but that did not work out. This way it looks... ugly.

On your posted images I can still see ugly black pixels around the edge, and in the last image the resulting corners look pixellated instead of smooth - antialiassing should solve this.
Why not simply do away with the rounded corners altogether if the proposed solution is unsatisfactory or too complicated to solve properly? Of course, I do appreciate your efforts. What needs to be done to implement your work in an already installed Bodhi Linux system to have a closer look - to make sure your example images are not messed up by JPEG artifacts?

You are pretty demanding For your info, this solution revealed really big and serious issue. It took too much CPU power. Mysterious but true. After 2 days spending on research I found the bug in moksha border code. Today, ylee uploaded last moksha deb in our repository. I will finish my theme work related to the shaped corners and will announce for your testing. Stefan EDIT: yep, antialiasing is possible. I will look...

You are pretty demanding I'm a visual arts teacher - that might explain it.

Ha, that explains a lot What about join us as themer? I have plenty of interesting work for you I do the theme work only because we miss somehow who could do that. Lots of bugs and imperfections. I have lots of other duties with Bodhi project. These days Hippytaff is on his way to take care of the themes. I teach him via discord... Stefan

Stefan Thanks for the offer, but my coding experiences are limited to PHP. All the computer-related stuff I do in my spare time is geared towards science projects (using Raspbian Linux on an old Raspberry Pi 1B and a powerful Windows 10 desktop). I installed Bodhi Linux to do my nephew a favor, so he could properly use his 12-year old laptop again "to watch his homemade movies and pictures". His laptop can only be upgraded to 4 GB, too modest for a regular Windows 10.
With this much less resource-hungry Linux on it, it became usable again. He's very happy sofar.
