Hi guys, I've been using bodhi for years to resurrect older PCs. First off all: thanks for everyone's efforts. I love bodhi! On two different PCs I've been unable to upgrade lately though:
Err:1 http://packages.bodhilinux.com/bodhi bionic/b5main amd64 moksha amd64 20201218bodhi30.3.2 404 Not Found [IP: 68.168.101.26 80] Ign:2 http://packages.bodhilinux.com/bodhi bionic/b5main amd64 bodhi-theme-moksha-arc-green all 0.4.4 Err:2 http://packages.bodhilinux.com/bodhi bionic/b5main amd64 bodhi-theme-moksha-arc-green all 0.4.4 404 Not Found [IP: 68.168.101.26 80] E: Failed to fetch http://packages.bodhilinux.com/bodhi/pool/b5main/m/moksha/moksha_20201218bodhi30.3.2_amd64.deb 404 Not Found [IP: 68.168.101.26 80] E: Failed to fetch http://packages.bodhilinux.com/bodhi/pool/b5main/b/bodhi-theme-moksha-arc-green/bodhi-theme-moksha-arc-green_0.4.4_all.deb 404 Not Found [IP: 68.168.101.26 80] E: Unable to fetch some archives, maybe run apt-get update or try with --fix-missing?
Anyone else experiencing the same issue?

Thanks for the answer. I had tried the usual upgrade procedure before posting. That is not the problem. I've been using linux for 13 years now, so I tend to know how to fix these problems ;-) Is there something wrong with the repo? When I browse the repo manually using Firefox the packages bodhi-theme-moksha-arc-green_0.4.4_all.deb and moksha_20201218bodhi30.3.2_amd64.deb are missing.

If you `sudo apt update` first then it should be looking for newer versions than that. For example arc green is at : 0.4.7

Right. To circumvent this issue, I used the sledgehammer and downloaded the packages manually from the repo and installed them using 'sudo dpkg -i XXX.deb'. Now upgrading works again. Still, I have never had a similar issue in 13 years...

The occasional time I get something weird from apt I do what it says and it usually fixes it

I wonder if its a bodhi repo problem, like cuz bodhi updated versions more that once, and worked for me cuz I took all the interim updates. But, it didnt work for you because you were skipped a few versions and they packaged that version to only update from certain previous version? This is all a guess, but that would explain it and make it not your fault Maybe if lucky ylee (who maintains bodhi repos) will chime in if theres any chance its bodhi repo problem or not since he knows a lot better than me how that stuff is supposed to work.
edit: I always think of stuff after i posted. if that were the case, then update/upgrade from clean iso would be problematic...

As a matter of fact the PC hadn't been used for six weeks or so, so yes, I skipped a few versions.

maybe an interupted upgrade. Something similar has happened to me a few times where wireless has dropped half way though an upgrade and I hadn't noticed. --fix broken etc fixed it for me, but that's just a guess too.

I don't think the actual issue is solved. I think some problems with bodhi legacy repository perhaps? some things will not install anymore....

I have the same problem tonight, and haven't had it previously. I'm trying the --fix-missing option but it doesn't look good right now... Yep, I checked it again. Everything is upgraded except moksha, which is the missing repo.
