I've just published a free ebook Android: What it is and how to use it. It explains not just how to use your Android smartphone or tablet, but what Android is and the roles played by the different parts of the Android desktop. It is aimed particularly at retired people who might be struggling with their Android device, so if you have any of these in your family you might like to pass it on to them. The book can downloaded from www.smashwords.com/books/view/1063175. Roger

Hello jollyroger
Thank you for creating and sharing another instructional book! I've referred to your Bodhi instruction book (manual) numerous times and found it contains valubale guides, such as modifying "keybindings" in Bodhi, and configuring Bodhi templates.
If possible, perhpas a link to your Bodhi ebook can be located on the primary Bodhi download page so that new users can be notified to refer to that guide during and after Bodhi installations? I've noticed there's a messge within the forums about your Bodhi book, however I did not notice a link within the Bodhi website.
Since your Bodhi ebook file is relatively small, perhaps it can be included within the Bodhi iso itself? What I mean is, perhaps your ebook can be included as a default file within Bodhi installations? And then within the html start page that loads after a Bodhi installation, and which displays how to perform system updates, a brief message can be included on the page, with a direct link to the pdf file?
As one who has written and created a book (although it was years ago), I understand how much effort is required in the endeavour, including draft revisions and so on. Therefore, once again, I want to thank you for sharing the fruits of your labour.
Cheers!!

Many thanks for your kind words, Archaem, much appreciated. It's up to the Bodhi team to decide whether or not to adopt your suggestions - I have no say in this - though I don't think it's legally possible to include the ebook in the Bodhi ISO, owing to the publisher's (Smashwords) terms of use. Regards, Roger
