This method of upgrade is not recommended or supported with Bodhi. Of course it is your system so welcome to try anything you want, but I imagine the 6.0alpha (based on ubuntu 20.04) is probably more likely to work right than attempting to force unsupported upgrades unless you know exactly what you're doing anyway.
