How to remove an extra synaptic from menu.
Applications > Other > Synaptic (its useless)
It was added when I install graphics driver or mintupdate, also adding a VM will do it.
Thanks.

Anything in the menu, will hopefully be found under ~/.local/shared/applications/ I'd suggest searching the folder for "synaptic" and then removing the offending file. Word of caution, if you get multi results from the search delete (or better move) the file to a new location (so you have a recovery point). Try this to find the file: grep -iE "synaptic" ~/.local/share/applications/* If the above returns nothing, then you can also search in the following folder (even more caution required on removing files from here): grep -iE "synaptic" /usr/share/applications/*

Well that was easy. Went into ~/.local/shared/applications/ and removed Synaptic from there and the Other menu is gone.
Thank you.
May be I should've looked before asking.
