I'm on Bodhi 5, which I wish to pair with an Android phone. I've managed to get it to show up in the list of devices fine in Blueman, but when I right click and click "pair", the phone shows a "pairing - enter this passkey" or whatever message, and a number, BUT THE AUTHENTICATION DIALOGUE BOX SIMPLY DOESN'T SHOW UP IN BODHI - ie. a place where I can enter the passkey! What gives? What am I supposed to do?
blueman is this:
blueman is already the newest version (2.0.5-1ubuntu1).
as mentioned in Hippytaff's link, i found bluetoothctl helpful because it can show you the status of the connection between the two devices and some limited error messages if things aren't working as they should.
