Hello Everybody,
I am new to Linux system. Last week I installed Bodhi Linux on my old laptop. When I installed new app, it asked for password. I entered a password I created during installation but it said invalid. I don't know if it refers to root password. I tried looking through internet to find ways to reset the root password but failed. Please help and show me the steps how to reset the password (Root or Admin password?), thanks.

Not sure exactly where you are installing the "new app" from - the Bodhi AppCenter?, Synaptic? If from either of those sources then your user password should work. You should not need to use a root password as sudo will let you do anything you would use a root password for.
However, if you must, (really not a good idea) to set your root password; from the terminal enter sudo passwd You will be prompted for your user password enter it then set the root password - I set it the same as my user password but that is just me. Again, just be aware doing things as root is not really a good idea unless you really know what you are doing - you can really jack up your system because basically root can do anything as in easily break things.
