Hello there There is a new Moksha release in repository. Upgrade as usual: sudo apt update && sudo apt install moksha Changelog
* iBar icon instance borders counter support ... This iBar instance counter is only in the themes that support it and currently that is only the Green theme as far as I know. So MokshaGreen is now updated in the BL7 repos.

Robert, thx for packages. I will add one more change to Plank mode and I will explain users how to use it. It should be done tomorrow. I have some hours in the morning.
IBar counter was added to Moksha's default theme and MokshaGreen. Not sure if users like it. I will wait for feedback. If yes, I will add it to all maintained themes.

OK, the package has been updated to the repo. Now it is time to explain a new feature I added to Moksha's IBar launcher. IBar has its own control based on standards ported from E. It could be a bit annoying for users switching from Windows or another Linux distros (for example using a Plank dock). This is the mouse control set: Moksha style (default): left click = opens ibar app (each new left click opens a new app's window) middle click = opens all app's windows Plank / Windows style (Moksha style disabled in settings): left click = if no app's window is opened, it will open a new window left click = activates opened minimized or unfocused window/windows middle click = new window if one is already opened CTRL/SHIFT + left_click = same as middle click (in the next Moksha release) Common usageright click = iBar menu mouse wheel over icon = cycle between opened windows mouse over the icon = shows app's windows in popup left click on popup item = activates window right click on popup item = activates context app menu (same as on window's border) IBar settings item for switching the style: Stefan

Stefan,
Thank you for the update and instructions. As for the IBar counter, I am not seeing count(s) for my Brave Web Browser app on the IBar. I see a black oval/square shape in the lower right hand corner on the app, but no number(s) are displaying. However, I do see count(s) on other apps (i.e. PCManFM and Terminology) on the IBar. I removed and restored Brave on the IBar, but it did not fix the issue. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. ~JS

Hello and thanx for feedback. I am using Brave and I can clearly see the iBar counter. How did you install Brave? From repo, or Internet? Can you see the dot indicator in other themes while Brave is running?

I installed Brave via Web-browser-manager after installing Bodhi7. Rather than a dot indicator, I see count(s) (or are you referring counts as dots?). Prior to the Moshka upgrade, I saw dots on all the apps, including Brave when running. Perhaps I uninstall/reinstall Brave?

So, I uninstalled/reinstalled Brave plus installed Pale Moon and Chromium. Pale Moon and Chromium show a dot/number indicator when running, but Brave still does not (a black dot in the lower right corner) when launched. Note: I updated Brave via repo the same time I updated Moshka about an hour ago. I will troubleshoot some more later.

OK, wait. I think I know what is the problem. Open Brave app editor (click on border's icon - edit icon) and check its icon name. It should be brave-browser. Follow my screenshot:

Common usageright click = iBar menu Stefan Thank you, thank you, thank you. I recently installed Bodhi and love it. The only issue I had was the mouseover popups on the iBar apps. I've spent the past two days searching for a way to turn that off, but was unable to find anything until I joined this forum. Within minutes I found this post, and what I hadn't realized was that I had to right-click on an app in the iBar to open the correct menu. I had been right-clicking to the right of the iBar. I set up Virtual Box and have installed over a dozen Linux distros. Bodhi is the first one to make me seriously consider using Bodhi as my daily driver.

Stefan
Following your screenshot, it's asking me to create an icon.

Stefan Following your screenshot, it's asking me to create an icon. yea, do that. The icon is the problem. My icon has already been created thus I can edit it now. You need to apparently create it for the first time.

Moksha (0.4.1-5) in repo
* IBar: Shift and Ctrl with left click to open app in Plank mode * Places: hide box after header click * Pager: DnD decativate after gadcon moving
Stefan
PS: related to item 3, keep in mind, you can start and stop gadget move mode with mouse middle click! I added this handy feature years ago but probably not everyone is aware.
