HI. I installed Bodhi 7 on my Acer Aspire one 2G RAM PC. Bodhi works very well and I am very satisfied. I started customizing it by adding various gadgets. However, I have found that the MEM gadget does not report memory usage correctly (verified with HTOP). Why?

Hi and welcome Go to module settings and check "Ignore buffers" and "Ignore cache" checkboxes. i.imgur.com/CvXqA4v.pngStefan

This kinda stuff drives me crazy too. Why is every version of the number a little bit different? Why aren't these tools consistent with each other?
Bodhi: 289MB (with both cache and buffers ignored)
Htop: 265M
Lxtask: 259MB
free: 270468=270MB=264MiB
They all say 450M or 450MB total, except free, which reports 460864=450MiB. So this leads me to believe the units Bodhi and LxTask are using are actually MiB even tho it says MB, so that doesn't explain the difference between the various values.
