Generally I love Bodhi for bringing life into my old machine - my only suggestions (as a lifelong unashamedly embarrassed Windows user who has made the switch) would be:
1. a super easy mini FAQ for old school Windows users who are struggling to understand what Moshka and Enlightenment are:)
a. how do I turn on desktop icons in Bodhi? b. how do I add new desktop shortcuts to the desktop in Bodhi like I did in Windows? c. how can I easily change my screen resolution like I used to in Windows? d. Help - what is an iBar, a gadget and a shelf when I am from the Windows world? e. I am but a simple person, I don't need multiple desktops, so how do I configure my desktop so I only have a single desktop like I did in Windows?
2. Cheeky one - Create a Windows "style" theme (sorry, but so many old Windows users could benefit using this) especially like I have done

OK, let's have a look at your troubles 1a. Menu->settings->modules->files->desktop_icons (load the module) 1b. Add your desktop or other files to ~/Desktop folder. Desktop files I mean files from /usr/share/applications with desktop extensions. Your apps will appear on the screen 1c. Use arandr tool installed by default in preferences menu 1d. iBar is an app launcher. Simply, it is a container for apps to run and you can easily drag them, move and delete from the iBar. You can also add iBar to desktop and have app launcher there. You can move iBar within shelf as other gadgets. It is up to you. 1e. Stop being a simple Win person. You should adapt to Linux world with its benefits. Use more desktops. 1 for fun, 1 for work, 1 for p.rn (of course it is not my case, just an idea, lol). Use ALT + number keys for switching. If you want to stay with Win philosophy, look up the Virtual Desktop settings and set up just one virtual desktop. 2. bodhilinux.boards.net/thread/137/custom-themesStefan

I'm in the process of completing an ebook for Bodhi Linux which will answer all your questions. It is in preparation for Bodhi v6 when that comes out later this year, but I'm basing the book on Bodhi 5.1 and will update it when v6 comes out. Anyway, the target audience is people like you, and it should be published in a few days' time. I'll post details on this forum when it appears.

I will, but approaching 50 and having used Windows exclusively since 1990 it don't come easy, but I'll get there. That'll be right up my street then! Looking forward to a read and thanks for your efforts.

jollyrogers books are great you can still find some of the old ones online if ya look. Sorry I don't have a link handy. But anyways we also a brief guide on our wiki may help clear up a few things: Moksha Guide. Edit: I was occupied yesterday with some serious programming problems/issues and being lazy. Jollyrogers books. He never wrote one for BL 5.0/5.1 but we all are very much looking forward to a new one
