Not knowing how the this works but I have a question about the process. I have a 15 year old Mac Book Pro that was on it's last leg with the Mac software upgrades. I decided to wipe the hard drive clean and have been experimenting with various Linux distros. All infused new life back into the computer and I then came across Bodhi. Much to my surprise the speed for this was super faster than the others so I have decided to keep it. My only problem is I tried this on Virtual Box and with many roadblocks I figured out the in's and outs (still have a long ways to go). My concern is when I go load the boot .iso I know from past experiences that I will have to be hooked to Ethernet. In other distros it would then find that I needed to add the drivers for the broadband so does the same steps happen with this distros or do I have to Google how to start?
Thanks in advance and apologize if I'm in the wrong pew. I look forward to loading this up and see how the old gal works with new life.

I think you're asking if when you install you need to be on wired (not wireless) ethernet. The simplest answer is no, you don't absolutely need network at all to install Bodhi.
But of course you'll want working wifi later, so the real answer depends if the bodhi iso image contains your wifi driver or not! Some proprietary drivers have restrictions about how they are distributed and so not every possible 3rd party driver is included with Bodhi.
The easiest way to know is, boot and see. The iso includes a "live mode" that doesn't fully install, just allows you to test basic things. If your wifi works there automatically, you're set. If not, then yeah the easiest way to install wifi drivers is to use wired internet (or tethered from mobile phone via usb).
Now the question I'm not 100% sure on is if bodhi will install 3rd party wifi drivers for you during installation if you have an active wired internet connection. There is a checkbox to allow it, but I personally dunno how that works or what exactly it does. But it certainly wouldn't hurt to plugin to ethernet while you're installing if your wifi doesn't work automatically....
