Hi, I just moved, I reconnected everything as it was before, but now it doesn't even recognize the laptop's own sound, much less the HDMI. All I have now i the laptop's built-in screen and that's all. In my sound settings, I can only choose "dummy output". in "screen layout" I can only choose "LVDS" which i the built-in screen, same goes when I use the "Outputs" dropdown. Here's the things I've tried: 3 different cables. Restarting. Shutting down > unplugging > started the Laptop > plugged everything in and all of the combos of this. NVM, solved it, just me being a dumb

it was juat me hooking the HDMI splitter to the HDMI on the receiver that was supposed to go to the TV. So the receiver has 4 inputs and 1 output, the splitter was connected to the output instead of the input on the receiver
